Invest Seoul successfully hosted “Seoul Forward – Make Seoul Your Next Move” on June 17 at VivaTech 2026 in Paris, Europe’s largest innovation and technology exhibition.
Among the Korean organizations and institutions participating in VivaTech, Invest Seoul was the first and only local government investment promotion agency to independently organize and operate an official workshop session as part of the event’s main program.
Seoul Forward is an investment promotion event designed to position Seoul as the premier gateway for global innovators seeking expansion into Asia. The event attracted more than 350 attendees, including representatives from multinational corporations, startups, investors, and innovation ecosystem leaders.
The keynote session featured the Seoul expansion story of Pasqal, while Invest Seoul presented Seoul’s dynamic innovation ecosystem and strategic incentives available to foreign companies. This was followed by a panel discussion titled “Scaling in Asia Starts with Seoul,” bringing together experts from venture capital firms, space technology companies, advanced manufacturing and defense industries, as well as leading Korean law firms.
Panelists and participants highlighted Seoul’s strong competitive advantages as a strategic hub for entering Asian markets, citing its access to capital, highly skilled talent pool, and robust industrial ecosystem.
Invest Seoul will continue to strengthen partnerships with innovative companies worldwide and actively pursue investment attraction initiatives to further establish Seoul as Asia’s leading business and innovation hub.
