Invest Seoul jointly hosted a real-timewebinar for global investors on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, in collaboration withZ/Yen*, a leading global financial consulting firm based in the UK. Thiswebinar marks the first event of 2026, with a total of three sessions plannedthroughout the year. The first presentation focused on Seoul’s competitiveness as a financial center, various investmentopportunities, and the strategic role of the agency.

On this webinar, Invest Seoul introducedSeoul’s competitiveness and highlighted key investmentopportunities, focusing on the strategic roles toward a global financial hub.Furthermore, Invest Seoul indicated its plan to foster Seoul into a globalfinancial investment hub through customized tailored support, strong globalnetworks, and strategic cluster marketing.

Meanwhile, Seoul recently solidified itsstanding as a global financial powerhouse, ranked 8th out of 137 cities in the39th Global Financial Centres Index (GFCI 39) published by Z/Yen. Invest Seoulplans to leverage this upward momentum in objective indicators to build trustwith global investors and continue its marketing efforts to drive actualinvestment.
